BMG and Private Music are releasing the brand new official soundtrack from the hit television show Charmed to coincide with the launch of the show’s sixth television season. Consistently one of the top-rated network programs and the top-rated show for WB, Charmed episodes always feature cutting-edge music and hot new artists. The CD gives Charmed fans a compilation of music from the shows including the Charmed theme song, a classic Smiths cover, “How Soon Is Now” performed by Love Spit Love.
Additionally, several artists on the Charmed soundtrack will be making special guest appearances on the show. Announcement to follow shortly.
The soundtrack features some of today’s hottest music including tracks from the Stereophonics’ new album and singer-songwriter Rachael Yamagata. Stereophonics “Maybe Tomorrow” and Rachel Yamagata’s “Worn Me Down” will be included on the artists’ new albums in stores this Autumn.
The Charmed soundtrack includes the tracks Hot by Smash Mouth (from their album Get The Picture?), Danger by Third Eye Blind, Strict Machine by Goldfrapp, and Rainbow in the Sky by Ziggy Marley. These tracks are all included on the artist’s most recent albums. Other tracks include favourites Rinse by Vanessa Carlton and Do you Realize by the Flaming Lips. I Can’t Take It by Andy Stochansky and New Favorite Thing by Balligomingo (featuring Lucy Woodward) will be released on upcoming CDs early next year.
It is the new must have item for all dedicated followers of Charmed and other shows such as Buffy and Angel alike.
